Terminal Controls

Deputy Shell's terminal includes a togglable two-row accessory key panel so you can reach keys a touchscreen keyboard doesn't normally offer:

• Row 1: Esc, Tab, Ctrl, Up-arrow, /, -, Alt
• Row 2: Home, End, Left-arrow, Down-arrow, Right-arrow, PgUp, PgDn

These cover the keys most command-line tools and terminal UIs (like editors and Codex's own interface) expect but a stock Android keyboard doesn't provide directly.

Current limitation

Long-press-to-repeat on these accessory keys (holding a key down to repeat it, the way many hardware keyboards work) is not yet available — each tap sends the key once.
